Welcome to Estonian Environmental Data Cube portal!

The Estonian Environmental Data Cube has been created by the Landscape Geoinformatics Lab of the Department of Geography at the University of Tartu and is currently still under continuous development and improvement. Various environmental parameters as well as the possibility to download data are being added.

The Estonian Environmental Data Cube brings together key indices calculated from satellite data (Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2), derivatives of LiDAR data from the Estonian Land Board (both elevation model and vegetation), and soil parameters, all standardized into a uniform spatial format. The data have a spatial resolution of 10 meters and are aligned to the ELME2 reference grid.

The Estonian Environmental Data Cube has been developed within the projects PRG1764 "Creating Smart Water Management Landscapes," TK232 "Center of Excellence for Sustainable Land Use (Futurescapes)," and "Development of a Modern Concept for a Large-Scale Digital Soil Map and Updating of the Existing Soil Map" (MULD2). The projects have been funded by the Estonian Research Council, the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research, and the Estonian Environmental Agency.
